New house pictures. It changes daily and I can't keep up!

So what have we been up to? Farm tours, house building, fishing and working a little of course.

Ian had fun feeding the alpacas at the tour of family farms this year. He also had a great time riding the "tractor train"


Rob has been very busy working on the house. Unfortunately the weather has not been in our favor and it has been a little slow going the past two weeks. Still, a lot has gotten done and we are very happy for this weekends good weather forecast!

And of course Rob has still found time to go fishing in the morning and has gone pheasant hunting too. The dogs are very happy. :-)

I have been keeping busy chasing Ian and keeping him happy and fed. I also have been busy with my Happy Healthy Baby store. Last Sunday I went to Seattle for the NWKids Show to see all the new products available. There are soooo many cute and practical things for kids now! It was fun to get the insiders look at what's new. This next weekend I am back in Seattle for an ICPA seminar! Go go go!

Ian had his 3rd birthday and was a little cake sneaker! His cousins Zach and Nicklas celebrated with my Uncle, Aunt Cousin, Grandma and Grandpa and second cousin Noah!

We had Ian's birthday at our family reunion in Alberta. There were just over 100 of us! We also got to spend time with my brothers and my sister on our trip.

Ian will be 3 next week! Here is my little man...

It looks like a REAL house!

Next week the roof (shingles) will go on and then windows, doors and siding! We will definitely be working indoors when the weather starts getting bad. And Rob is over his fear of heights now for sure!

Ian has been helping daddy pick up all the nails on the site. He is a good little helper. :-)

A Day Outside.

No house updates today. At least no pictures...We have the trusses 90% up and hope to have the roof on in 3-4 weeks.


Ian has been outside playing today. He has made a little discovery that I am sure daddy won't be too pleased about. He has found bugs, mostly worms, under the landscaping blocks and has decided to turn them all over in his bug search! Of course mommy can't disrupt this inquisitive, discovery play but daddy...well lets just say I will be putting them back before he gets home!





Daddy will be happy that Ian uses his shovel to pick up all the doggie poopers off the lawn and put them in the tall grass! If only we can get him to do this when he is a teenager. ;)




My roses and flowers are blooming and smelling sooo great! I am pretty proud especially since I DO NOT have a green thumb.
