Christmas Eve, Eve...

Just 30 minutes until it is officially Christmas Eve. Ian is SUPER excited this year and has been asking, "how many more suns?" for at least the last 2 weeks now. Owen is still unaware of all the festivities and what is yet to come but enjoying the gifts and tree none the less. In fact this is the first Christmas that the tree has fallen on one of the children...Owen of course. That little guy is into EVERYTHING. He is such a climber and busy body. Always into cupboards and drawers...Ian is having fun playing with him more now. I am not too sure if he is trying to be nice by playing with him or if he just likes to use him as target practice for his nerf gun. Owen seems to enjoy it and laughs and wants to be around his big brother all the time so as long as there is some boundaries in the play, I think they will be fine. ;-)

Merry Christmas all! Christmas photos will be posted soon. Time to wrap the last of the gifts and get some shut eye.

Happy Birthday Ian!
Ian is now officially 5 and very proud of it. We had a wonderful birthday party for him with our wonderful friends and family.





































































Owen is now standing but not walking yet...3 teeth now too. 2 on the bottom and one on top. Watch out for biting!!!

I can't keep up! With my busy boys, house to clean, work, new exciting projects...well not much time to blog. But here are a few more pictures. I hope to be back soon to give the low down. ;-)

Back from Canada!
We just got back from a week up in Canada. We had a wonderful time visiting with my great friend Sheri and her family as well as my parents, sisters, nephews, new niece and my grandma! Ian and Rob had a wonderful time fishing and swimming. Rob caught a 30 inch Walleye! That is a master angler size fish. He also caught a 25 incher. Ian caught a lot of northern pike and helped reel in the Walleyes too. It was a fun and short trip back to the prairie. Hopefully we will get back there soon to do some more fishing. :D

Ian graduates preschool!
And I have never seen anything cuter than 4 little 4 and 5 year olds graduating in their caps and gowns. The boys wore blue and the girls wore purple. Ian had a little trouble keeping his had on. And it wouldn't be a typical boy graduation without at least one broken bone. Ian is now sporting his cool, blue cast on his left arm. Only 3 1/2 more weeks of that. So far he isn't bothered with it too much other than the occasional itch and troubles with the fishing rod...give it another week or so and he will really be tired of it I am sure!

Rob has been busy working on the front yard. It is really looking good. He put the sprinkler system in yesterday. It still needs a few little tweaks but the trees are now automatically watered. I have such a handy hubby! When we get back, hopefully, we will have some grass growing and we will be off to buy some plants to finish up the landscaping. I love buying plants!

We are heading off to Canada on Thursday. We will be visiting friends and family for a week in sunny Manitoba! Grandpa will be taking care of the house, plants and dogs while we are gone.

And Owen is now 10 months old! Time flies...

Yesterday was a crazy day...

Yesterday started off great. Ian was in a fishing derby and caught 2 fish! He was very proud of his fishing accomplishments and I don't think he wanted to stop. Next we made a small stop in the office, went to a birthday party (yay) and then to a graduation party. Busy, busy, busy!

Unfortunately just before we were about to go, Ian had a mishap at the grad party...He broke his arm while playing on a trampoline. I guess what they say is true about trampolines. Many, many a child has suffered a broken bone to the trampoline play. :( He fractured his left humerus just above his elbow. We have it in a brace now but he needs to go in for a cast next week. That he will have on for probably 3-4 weeks.

The broken arm didn't stop Ian from fishing again this morning though! He was back out with dad today and together they caught another 4 fish! I guess we are having fish for dinner tonight. ;-)

Ian is in his first organized sport...Pee Wee Baseball. He is having fun but doesn't like the "name".














and Owen too of course. Crawling all over like a pro...still no teeth...
