Christmas!

No Snow in Western Washington for Christmas...that means kite flying and scooter riding for us!

The boys got Rockboard scooters and Ian took off on it almost instantly. We as scooting around the house so we thought we better get outside. Owen still needs more practice.

Both big boys also got kites. Owen currently loves T-Rex dinosaurs so he got the T-Rex kite. Ian got a pink flamingo but it wasn't designed very well and as Rob put it...probably needs a hurricane to really fly it. He tried though!

Is that "red-neck" if you use a fishing pole to fly a kite? Robert's idea...but hey, it worked great!

Getting cold...but still no snow.

Kellan napped in the car while the big boys played. But here is a picture of him enjoying Christmas too!

CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN!

The family is busy with Christmas preparations. Ian, Owen and Kellan are a constant source of energy and mess! Thankfully I took getting my birthday gift on myself this year and I have someone coming to clean our house so I can enjoy the holidays even more. Yay! And easy on Robert too.

Ian learned how to do a front flip in gymnastics this week. I wish I had found the gymnastics outlet earlier. Both him and Owen really like it and with all the climbing and jumping around they do at the house already, I am sure they will catch on quickly. Kellans most recent accomplishment...climbing stairs. And boy is he proud of it. Now I am really on the watch. Looks like he is going to be just like his brothers. 3 boys...oh boy!

I just finished reading a really good book I would like to share. It is called "The Child Whisperer." I love how it teaches us to honor our children's (and our own) innate gifts and energy. A great gift for parents!
